I'm an exciting person, really.

I've been meaning to get a pair of hi-top sneakers since a long time ago but never really prioritised in getting them because I don't wear sneakers that often anyway.

But these Reeboks has gone total old-school.

Made me think, perhaps I should go get myself a pair of crazy sneakers as well. Since I doubt I'll be wearing them often anyway, so why not just go all the way super loud and crazy?

...
..
.

Nah, I think I'll stick to my basic white Converse hi-tops.

Crap, I'm a boring person.

Hot Pink Shorts

This is what prompted this entry:

[Source: WetSeal]

Wicked awesome pink hot shorts.
On sale.
Can't ask for anything more perfect.

Hoodies with less sleeve are also LOVE

I was supposed to do a post on short-sleeved hoodies a while ago but I forgot, probably because I already go myself a nice piece tee hee. I know, I should really get around to uploading photos.

Anyway, I love short-sleeved hoodies because they're like hoodies, except less, uh, warm. Which would make a lot of sense if you live in an all-year tropical climate like I do and have an obsession with hoodies :).

These are from Wetseal's sale section:

Pricier but more unique versions from UrbanOutfitters:

Diesel bubble-sleeved! I like it.

Short-sleeved? Make it no sleeve!
Nah, doubt I like this, looks way unfinished. Sleeves make all the difference.

Loungewear Out

I know I'm all for effortless-ness, but this is really pushing the limit.

What the hell. I love it.

Very Cool.

Technicolour Discoball Sale

Taking a short break from project working!

Dorothy Perkins
is having a summer sale!

I love butterfly sleeves.

The trapeze collar thing.
I've not tried such collars before so I wouldn't know if I look good in it so whether or not I love it remains questionable.

I'm really beginning to grow a certain fondness for the playsuit.

Oh yeah, discoball chic.
A friend bought a pair of blue shorts from Pull & Bear and I loved it.

Another friend says pink sneakers are really hard to find, so get these at only £7.00.

Grecian on Sandals

I don't need sandals but nowadays I can't help looking at them. If I wasn't already so broke I would've bought a pair.

Actually not really, I would've bought a pair of Coverse hi-tops that I've been coveting for quite some time now instead. I digress.

Aaaaaaaanyway point of this entry is that I really like sandals with braided details. Maybe because I've always liked the whole grecian look.

A classic, it adds just a touch of glamour for just about anything.

This pair looks fun. I love how there's a right mix of different colours, but it's not so bright or gawdy that you couldn't wear it often.

Now if I could only have the floor-sweeping version of this dress, that would be Greek goddess perfect.

Uninspired and Missing Skirts

I am tired, dead beat, tomorrow is Saturday and I have to wake up extremely early because I have driving at 8 in the morning.

I also can't seem to get inspiration to do design work for a couple of projects.

Oh, one more thing. I really, really, really miss wearing pretty skirts :(

I think I'm PMS-ing. I'm lamenting over life and being uninspired all over and junk.

Sweet dreams.

Personal Styling into Gymming

Ever since I signed up with a gym I've been quite obsessed with what to wear, naturally.

Besides, I think it makes sense that the right apparel should not only be comfortable to work out in, but it should also make you feel like working out. So I don't care if it's silly to put so much thought in what I'm wearing to the gym, hmmmmppph.

Urban Outfitters
have all the go-to-gym essentials that I looovvveee, especially their tshirt collection.

Anyway, here's how I'd like to go to the gym in, yaaaaay.

Top

You could wear the typical sports bra/tank thingy, but I personally like a bit more cloth on me. So that when I change out of it I'd feel somehow lighter, haha.

I need to get one of these boy tanktops. I'd feel fierce in them.

On a random not, Ciara wore a white wifebeater in her "Like a Boy" music video, I thought that whole androgynous 'gangsta' look totally worked.

So flashdance! Cheesy, but I love it!

Can you say flashdance again? I'd wear this for yoga.

The T-shirts! They deserve another different post but unfortunately I think the next few days is going to be a wee bit tight, so this way at least they do receive some sort of credit :)

What? Everybody loves Hello Kitty.

Hey! Mary Kate, wait I mean Ashley, no wait, oh pooh, one of the Olsen twins wore this!

Gorgeous colour, nice cut, and a deep message *cough*.
I think I'm into this phase whereby I like big font on tshirts. I'm thinking those fashion groupie tshirts from House of Holland rubbed off on me.

Bottom

The classic: shorts.

I want to get one of these camo print cargos as well, but in a shade of grey. Saw someone wearing it out on the streets today.

Cover-up

Yay, my favourite part. Urban Outfitters is new love because they have a nice hoodies.

TOO ADORABLE.
Yay, pandas.
How's about a short-sleeved hoodie?
I got one the other day while out shopping. Loved it, though I've not worn it out yet.
The romper is great for the beach, works as well as a gym coverup.
The appeal is that it's cute and it's so easy to wear.

Well, that's my preferred gym style for you. Have fun looking for yours :)

Wear File: From everywhere else

It's strange that I don't post pictures of myself more regularly. My excuse the last time was because I had a lousy camera.

My excuse this time is that I just can't take decent photos of my outfit. The lighting in my room gets blocked out when I use the mirror :s But I'm trying to take full-shot photos without using the mirror.

Anyway, here are some photos I bothered to upload and forgot about.

Oh yeah, another reason why everyone should get best friends, you buy cheesy tshirts together.
Both of us are now obsessed over vintage tees! Whee.

Pardon the tired smile, unsightly eyebags and dark circles. We work too hard for our good sometimes. *cough*

I wore this to a concert a while back. Yeah, I know, not exactly concert material, but I felt like wearing this so pooh.

Bubble tea crave!

Remember this dress I got a while back?

I wore it as a top instead because it hugged my butt and I felt fat that day.
Anyway, the dress is a top, paired it with white bermudas. gold earrings and gold wedges that I didn't take a photo of.

On a side note, that's shisha I'm having. Basically you're suppose to smoke this gigantic phallic thing with decorative pompoms and glitter. Oh joy. Was told it would be all refreshing and mind-clearing and junk but when I had it I was like, "That's it?"

Meh, at least I could say I tried it before. Would've been better if belly dancers came out just to up the novelty factor.

Ed Hardy: Tacky or Street Art?

Ok, so the cap's not exactly for accessorising purposes, I just needed something I could hide my face under when I go out make-upless for the gym or something. I know, bimbotic -_-

Anyway. So the first thing that came to mind to me was Ed Hardy.

Thing is, when I first saw them I thought they were atrociously tacky. Their designs are what us Singaporeans would understand to be reminisce of the "beng"; local gangsters, if you will.

And it doesn't really help that later on I saw photos of Britney and K Fed wearing Ed Hardy.

But now that I am looking for a cap, and since Ed Hardy is the only cap brand I know that has an online shop I can browse through, I'm thinking "Heeeeyyyy maybe these aren't so bad after all".

It is expensive online. I wouldn't want to spend USD$90 on a cap, would I?

There's a store in Singapore, perhaps I'll go check them out.

Turbans: What if?

Ever since Prada did the turban on the catwalk, I knew it was going to be trend and I knew I would never consider it.

But of course, I realise when it comes to fashion there's no such thing as "never consider".

Then I looked at the people on FaceHunter and saw other variations of the turban.

The atypical Prada version.

Ok so shift it a little to the side and leave a tail.

This one made me chuckle a little.
Her turban version looked like she did it with eyes closed and a "suck this, trendwhores" attitude, and maybe its the orange hair as well, but hell, it works.

In case you've not seen Topshop's turban...
Riiiggghht. At least I don't have to tie it on myself.

Know why I'm excited? Because while looking through my lookbook for a Prada turban I discovered a whole collection of past looks that are pretty pretty pretty!

I am beat. Past few days of attempting to squeeze work and frolick together have been tiring.

Vintage T-shirt Obsession

I want all of these and more from 80sTees!

Another Blondie tee perhaps? This one says "one way or another" at the back!

This one cracks me up, tee hee!
Batman is a hundred times better than Superman.
Because he's super rich and he has a utility belt, hello.

Muppets! Less annoying than Sesame Street!
And because I like this shade of purple.

Everybody loves Donatello! Right?
Actually I can't distinguish one turtle to the next but I do remember liking the one with the red eye mask thingy.
Anyway, nice print.

Ugly Betty! I don't watch every episode but I do know I like him a lot, whoever he is.

Awwww.... just slap me.

Gotta have one in every colour!

I notice a lot of people getting those Mr Men and Little Miss series.

Don't know what all the hype is for. It's cute, but not that fascinating.
