Where's Agathe of Style Bytes? I miss her outfit posts :(

Anyway, my current blog love is Doe Deere Blogazine. Doe Deere is Xenia (if that's really her name then freeeakin' cool), this super creative individual with a feminist streak now and then.

I love love love her blog for 3 the three most important things in the world; perfect makeup in every form, a genius unabashed use of colours, and the fantastic photography.

This make-up look rocks. It has that prominent line above the eye-crease, reminisce of the Twiggy doe-eyed era, doncha think?

Thumbs up for showing the old "toning-it- down" formula the exquisitely gloved finger.

Going straight

So I was wondering what sort of torture to inflict onto my hair, curl losing mojo and all, and in a split second of none-creativity, I got it straightened.

Yea I know you can't really see the curls either but it's a nice photo HAHA.

Anyway.

Oooh. Check out how my hair colour pops with silky tresses.
I was supposed to have straight eye curtain bangs, but never mind.
And my hair has never ever been this long, so I'm quite happy :)

Next plan of action is to Anna Sui SS '08 it up.

I really love the hair on Irina Lazereanu, with peekaboo colour in her fringe.

But a muted purply colour would look understatedly awesome too.
But this colour is pretty hard to find in colour extensions. Hmm.

One of my qualms was that red hair extension would be a bitch to dress up for, and that I'd have to abandon colours. Not so, fortunately :)

I wear tons of purple, bluish, green, pinks, and black, shouldn't be a problem for me.

Giant chunks of crazy colour, sounds good, no?

I quite like. Mum should be feeling proud that I willingly let myself into a baju kurung on a day that's not Hari Raya-based, hah.

And pretty bouncy curls that took an entire night+morning to recreate.

New Layout!

Cheeecck it out, new banner header! *points up excitedly*

I'm suppose to be starting on at least one of two major assignments but I was lazy didn't want to do it procrastinated got decided to rest and play around blogger for a while.

I never knew such a feature existed! You can do up a foolproof layout by toggling a few things here and there. I heart blogger.

Ok back to work for real. Maybe just a very rough outline. Veerrry rough.

Pretty perm almost gone, my flat hair is back. I'm giving the perm another week to live and then off to the hairdresser for me. Quite excited :).


Flea market outfit! Nothing caught my fancy, believe it.

I did see a couple of tshirts that I like, but I didn't like the shirt the design was printed on. You know, the thick cotton round neck tees that remind you of secondary school camp tees.

I'm so hungry. What I'd give for some cheese fries.

It's been a while since I last went to a crappy flea market. Heard this one's not so crappy so I shall give it another go. I shall remember to take photos and junk like that.

Its..... supercalifragilisticexpialidochos!

I know, I know, it's like I died and my ghost can't even be bothered to continue my life.

In short, school+love and involvement of another interest+general absence of inspiration+how snobbish I felt I became because of this blog (and from reading other equally snobbish blogs) = what was thought to be the end of this monologue. But renewed interest and a kick in the hiney has prompted me to return.

Oh, and in quoting, uh, someone not famous, "Respect all styleeezzzzzz." Word. Haha.

I was in fact thinking of starting afresh altogether, move to a new blog with a cooler and less supercilious name, but true to my short attention span (and laziness), I abandoned the idea.

I'll be back with a goddess full of folly entries sooner than you can say with great celerity supercalifragilisticexpialidochos. By the way, I rocking can, Mary Poppins was my tween-age fascination.
