The Zouk flea market

Zouk Flea market was pretty cool.

We reached there an hour before they closed, so perhaps I didn't get to see everything. Thank goodness we came after almost everyone had left, because I was in my yoga apparel and the people there are so spiffily dressed.

Anyway what I was really looking for were cheap vintage tee-shirts and a versatile faux or not leather bag. I managed to get the vintage tees last minute, plus some skirts.

Vintage tees for $8.

3 skirts for $25.

This particular flea market was more enjoyable than the last because firstly it was air-conditioned! Secondly... yep, actually that's it. The prices are more or less the same.

Accessories-wise, a lot of those unique-looking custom made kinds, retro ear studs and waist belts, going for the most ridiculous prices.

A lot of unique jewellery were being sold. Unique's very in now but I have doubts. I don't know how unique unique really is if everyone's wearing a unique jewellery. To me they all look the same jumbled mess.

There were more branded apparels this time round though. A lot that I'd go crazy with if I weren't so desperately broke and feeling extra stingy.

I found a vintage Commes Des Garcons striped tee, an Agnes B. top, a Burberry sweater and an Armani Exchange tee, all for less that $50! The most expensive was this Marc Jacobs quilt skirt that I was coveting for months back going for $100.

Can't wait for the next Zouk Flea market.
