Electric Pop Stockings

I want to get coloured opaque stockings.

More specifically, Turquoise blue and Purple.

WeLoveColors have these in 45 colours! They also have patterned stockings and other hosiery, they all come in various candy colours.

And now I think hot pink and emerald green isn't so bad as well. The red looks hot as well.

One thing I MUST emphasize, stockings are NOT pants. Please and thank you.

I haven't gone shopping in a while, hmm.

I desperately need my girlfriends, hurray for the weekend.

The First Day.

1) The people were extremely friendly and hospitable :).
2) I went to my first meeting and received a business card (which has a freaking cool design). Yes, I think receiving business cards is a big deal hmmph.
3) I thought I wouldn't be doing anything constructive on the first day and was looking forward to slacking. I thought really wrong.
4) They thought that I was a multimedia student. When someone asked, I made sure I told them I was a mass communication student interested in creative advertising. AND made sure I was audible enough for them to hear.
5) Tomorrow I'll get kicked out of my current desk because someone else who is not an intern is coming in. Hur hur.
6) Casual wear everyday!

Felt silly wearing corporate the first day, even after calling them to confirm the dress code. Was dressed to impress. Unfortunately nobody cared -_-.

The brand-new vintage [oxymoronic much] dress with the really pretty bow.

Wore a white belt as well in the middle but I took it off before remembering to take a photo of the outfit.

Yes, I am very addicted to playing Pokemon on the obsolete, super bulky, very early but not enough to be retro, Nintendo Game Boy.

Yeeeaaaaah.

Hello Kitty Strikes Yet Again!

I need a new mouse! Why is it that my computer peripherals keep dying on me? First the printer, then the earphones and now the bloody mouse.

Anyway, I was searching online for optical mouse-s (or does 'mice' apply in this case as well?) and I came across this.

*Squeaaallls* In 2 colours no less!

DO I DARE?! O.o

This is NOT a fashionable post.

There are too many things to do online! How does one seriously keep up?

Anyway I downloaded Yahoo! Widgets and Joost and honestly speaking both are not doing anything for me but make my system lag.

Widgets makes use of organising applications such as time, games, cam viewers that you can download into your desktop. Joost is a program that allows you to watch tv shows or music videos in hi-def whenever you want to as long as there's an internet connection.

The widgets were cute, and downloading animated cartoons and games on your desktop seemed fun initially but now they're just a bother *smacks dancing hula girl at the bottom of screen*.

Joost on the other hand is not user-friendly enough for me and there's not that much shows on it anyway. Perhaps I'm just not using it right, but I can't be bothered nor have the time even to explore properly. It has a nice interface though. I'll probably remove both applications later on.

This, fyi, is the result of taking the new communications technology module in school. It's easy to be amazed when exposed to the kind of technology that have evolved and will continuously evolve, but to be constantly on the know you have to be dedicated. Unfortunately, that kind of dedication I do not have.

I'm just not interested enough, or I get bored easily. In other words it all boils down to me having better things to do.

As fun as Facebook is even, I hardly visit anymore, unless it is to upload photos or when I get email notifications.

I have yet to try out Second Life as well, a social networking site where you can use [and earn, I heard] real money.

I was suppose to post about something very simple and highly superficial but somehow I continued rambling about all these junk that I've tried out. Apologies for that.

It is ironic that "Fall Behind Me" by The Donnas is playing in my iTunes right now.

Going Nuts for Eyewear

Woo, alright! 3 posts in one day! I feel like I have a lot more to blog about x_x.

I got these from FredFlare 2 days ago!

Imitation Rayban-inspired wayfarer shades!
I was torn between white and the red one, and I was leaning a lot towards getting the red one, but then I thought it looked too cartoon-ish, and I wasn't sure how the bright red would reflect against my skin colour.
So I got the safer boring white. Ho. Hum.

I also got Harry Potter glasses!!! SQUEAALLSS.
Can't wait for them to reach me.

Still looking for oversized vintage grandpa glasses.

Gorgeous Snake on my Sandals!

GASP.

[Source: GoJane]

I WANT.

IF the snake was made from crystals instead of beads. Beads look cheap!
Not that I can afford swarovzski [spelling?] crystals anyway but I'm sure you can find cheap ones around. Right?

Oh, but the snake *drools*

Of the Quaint and the Quirky

I didn't realise I was not posting for quite some time. Anyway Friday was the last day of school for me and Monday will be the first day of internship!

Thank goodness I was there to hunt for the place first, it was nestled in the middle of these other shophouses and I almost couldn't find my way around, even with the help of a map.

Nonetheless, I'm quite excited :)

I can see colourful shophouses alongside dilapidated ones as well, awesome.

The place I'm interning at is located along this alleyway.
So quaint I could just die :)

I saw this mighty colourful quirky wallet from Bugis Street and I knew I had to get it. I wanted to get the nicest most perfect vintage sling bag I've ever touched but someone else bought it, booo.

An Elmer the Elephant wallet! It's a character from a children's book, in case you had no childhood, hmmmpphh.

Fine so Elmer was new to me as well, but isn't this adorable! It is imported from Japan, so I suppose it has to be cute? Anwyay, I was so tempted to buy the phone pouch and make-up case too.

Mandatory close-up shot :)
