More Meows

Overload of gorgeousness prettiness!

How can I not love cats?

Awesome photography, though you lose the model everytime. Even in close-up shots. Hm. But the fashion looks fun. I can't imagine the fun it must be to plan and co-ordinate these photoshoots.

And it's true that cats can't be bothered with people when they're not kittens anymore, but that's their beauty.

I miss my Aunt's cat. I'm not ready for a cat of my own yet, so if I feel lonely and spinster-ish, I visit my Aunt. Haha. I kid, I enjoy making fun of my Aunt as well :p

Mareno!!! *cat jumps in fright and attempts to squirm away from my jaws-like grip uh i mean cuddle*

By the way has anyone seen my resolutions? I forgot where I put them.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Urrggggh, I have a bunch of photos to Facebook but darn I'm lazy.

This did it for picture/inspiration of the week for me.
I'm thinking my grunge tshirt and neglected slip dress sounds effortlessly yummy. Perfect. For, you know, when you retire from the pretty and the prissy and the glitz that is atypical of the festive mood and scorn at having to go back to school/work.

Coincidentally, I think the hair with 10 canfuls of hair spray is very befitting of the year of the ox. Hee. I feel silly happy over the tiniest things sometimes, and I like that.

It's not too good that I think Irina rocks smoking shots best huh? Whooops.

Is it weird that I'm thinking of joining a photography club with a half-decent not-SLR digital camera? Meh whatevs, they can kick me out if they're intimidated by the pinkness of my camera :)

OOTD: School in Tiger Print

Didn't go school though *overslept*, but I did prepare the outfit for it so might as well.

Coolness effect from an SLR. I want an SLR too.

Haha, drunk face.

Underwater cam for the bestie who's leaving me for beautiful Borneo. *grudges*

I'm quite sad because my December trip to Langkawi is cancelled :(

Zouk's Flea and Easy 16th November, tomorrow from 2pm to 7pm.

But I'll be home to work on my major essay.

Kindly be careful around white tiger/big cat enclosures.

Doe Deere Blogazine

Where's Agathe of Style Bytes? I miss her outfit posts :(

Anyway, my current blog love is Doe Deere Blogazine. Doe Deere is Xenia (if that's really her name then freeeakin' cool), this super creative individual with a feminist streak now and then.

I love love love her blog for 3 the three most important things in the world; perfect makeup in every form, a genius unabashed use of colours, and the fantastic photography.

This make-up look rocks. It has that prominent line above the eye-crease, reminisce of the Twiggy doe-eyed era, doncha think?

Thumbs up for showing the old "toning-it- down" formula the exquisitely gloved finger.

Pattern Pandemonium

I'm sooo upset right now because I can't seem to download Photoshop. I have officially stopped photographing simply because I can't upload them onto my laptop. Upset.

Rants aside, I didn't realise how far I've been gone from blogging until I looked at my last post which was almost 2 weeks ago.

I miss patterns.

Fantastic shots and the chaotic arrangement is inspiring.

Those hand-painted tattoos makes me want to draw up random sketchings on my stockings - something I saw from someone's blog a looonng while ago (can't remember which, uber sorry). But then again, my relationship with DIY has never been smooth.

Off to watch Kung Fu Panda now! Yaaay I like Pixar/Dreamworks movies! I actually mistook the name for "Panda-monium", because of some mag article title, so imagine my friends' perplexed faces.

My Lomo Obsession

With regards to the lomography post, of course digital photos can be manipulated thanks (or no thanks) to Photoshop.

Obsession: Vanity and Lipsticks.
Chanel so delicious but so un-affordable.
Found an alternative for the shade I wanted though, yay-ness.

Obsession: Luggage.
Ok this is too tiny to be considered luggage, but I love it's vintage-ery.
Holiday, holiday, holiday.

Obsession: ... Goofing off?
I miss my goofy friends so.

But hey, what's the fun in not being able to lug around a big camera?

My brother's flying off to Thailand for 3 weeks for National Service tonight!
Off to send him off! Bye! Off.

Lomo Cams

It's a few days till the Songkran festival in Thailand and I can't believe I'm missing it. Just a few months ago my friends and I were seriously planning to make the trip, that is until we all got jobs [or stopped contacting me altogether *rolls eyes*].

I want to get a lomography camera, so I can have artsy, unpredictable, blurry [hence better-looking me] to scrapbook holiday trips.

I see a lot of stupid silly people who buy these manual analog babies just because of the hype and eventually sell them off online probably because they can't be bothered to trudge down to certain photo shops to develop and such.

My heart is pretty much set on the basic Holga that can be easily modified to my liking once I get used to its most primary form, but I wish it came with an underwater casing. Then I bring it along when I go caving/snorkelling. The underwater version thus far would be the frogeye but it's not modifiable.

Pink holgas would be so cool though, too bad it doesn't come in the super basic version.
Anyway, t's really huge, I like :).

DSLR what?

Fisheye - can purchase the underwater casing from lomographyasia.com. The site is quite un-user friendly hence didn't do link-ups from there.
Nice site though.

I'm still researching on the Diana cam though.
It takes soft, dreamy photos I think.

Hmm hmm hmmm.

Wasn't this such a waste of your fashion-blog-post-expecting-time?! Anyway, I still don't understand why polaroid films are being discontinued. Boobooboobye.

The Robot and I

I've not gone shopping in town on weekends for a long while now so has the service always been that horrible on a Saturday? Poo.

Anyway at least I did get some fab buys that even my mom is gushing over - and she usually hates the clothes I buy -___-.

Vogue Girl Korea studios the most gorgeous photoshoots ever. I especially love this particular set.

How is it that the giant robot does not steal one's attention away from the model and her clothes? Pure genius. Their other photoshoots are equally breathtaking.

Anyone know where I can get a copy of the magazine in Singapore? These would look more gorgeous on print.

Tomorrow's a Monday? Already?!

FashionPhotog Pervsite

*YAAWWWNNNN*

I have been slacking the whole day, alternating naps with mindless tv programmes. Nice :)

Anyway, because I'm feeling quite lazy to do a proper post, I'll just feature a really super cool pervsite. This is foto_decadent and it's a livejournal community where users post gorgeous fashion photography.

Reminds me much of Amy Winehouse.
I strangely think it's so sweet that she's becoming a wreck because she can't be with her husband. Not that I'm condemning... uh what was his crime again? Anyway just let him go already, I want Amy to live.

4 words, L-V Monogram Speedy.
New wallpaper, much? Delish.

The site is truly gorgeous, and I hope the contributors continue, uh, contributing.

Time for a nice movie.
