Just the pallettes would enough. The pallettes this time look so well-put together and absolutely gorgeous colours. This pallette is Too Dolly. Pretty pretty. My favourite shades in a pallette.

This pallette is Lucky Tom, I believe. More safer shades, but gorgeous nonetheless.

The lip colours are pretty, but none that I'd actually use, so pass.

Honestly the packaging is disappointing. They were trying to deviate from the cutesy thing way too much that it's just... off.

Bestie and I are going out on Valentine's - her to celebrate her waking up and jerk-dumping and me to celebrate... uurrrgh baah nvm - and we are NOT looking at happy couples.

So far we are plan-less, can't think of any un-romantic place, because even the most un-romantic place will be filled with couples looking for novelty. Biiittttcccchh. Tsk.

Latest Addiction: MAC Lipsticks

I'm addicted to MAC lipsticks! They're the uber prettiest and come in all sorts of shades and types for every skintone. HAPPY HAPPY.

I suffer from the uneven lip tone, where the top lip is darker than the bottom so the Amplified range pretty much solves that problem. Unlike the matte it's creamy and not as dry, yum. Not that I didn't get colours in their other range though. If it looks pretty, it looks pretty.

Oooh, being juvenile here, but they look like tampons heeeteeeheheheeeee.

I took a break after 6 straight hours of being holed up in the room rushing my assignment. Couldn't resist trying on me latest haul. Blankety on the lips, the most perfect nude colour EVER. Happy :) And I like the eye make-up, I say experiment is a yes way.

I only have 5, but trust me I'm on my way to becoming a lippie addict. I wanted to get another one, but I couldn't decide the colour and our stomachs were calling for Canale macaroons or macarons whatevs - of which I now totally buy into the hype. It's like chewy ice-cream, yum.

On a side note, my dance instructor told me that you could die from doing work for 8 hours straight.

Viva Glam IV is such a gorgeous frosty red that's very buildable.
It looks so naturally right on me, it's almost scary.

Oh, and MAC Fix Plus (Fix+?) is an awesome awesome facial mist thing. It's the best I've tried ever. Refreshes, sets make-up, eliminates that cakey look from powders/mineral make-up and it smells soo good; I mean the stuff has green tea in it hullo.

For a bottle of wtf "energised" water it's a little pricey at $25, but tons of benefits and it'll last a lifetime.

Doe Deere Blogazine

Where's Agathe of Style Bytes? I miss her outfit posts :(

Anyway, my current blog love is Doe Deere Blogazine. Doe Deere is Xenia (if that's really her name then freeeakin' cool), this super creative individual with a feminist streak now and then.

I love love love her blog for 3 the three most important things in the world; perfect makeup in every form, a genius unabashed use of colours, and the fantastic photography.

This make-up look rocks. It has that prominent line above the eye-crease, reminisce of the Twiggy doe-eyed era, doncha think?

Thumbs up for showing the old "toning-it- down" formula the exquisitely gloved finger.

Simply Natural's Mineral: Swatches

Back to make-up HAAA.

Makeup of the moment: mineral makeup.

They have very minimal ingredients so it's supposed to be good for the skin, environmentally friendly, they come in all crazy array of colours, and they are so so cheap.

Essentially they're coloured powders with multiple functions, most commonly used as eyeshadow, they can also be packed on the lips, brushed across cheeks, body shimmer, nail colour etc etc.

What can I say, I love them. These are from Simply Natural's, and they give entire FULL 5g jars, not sample sizes.

Pretty pretty. My first purchase I only got Jessy Black, Butterscotch, Egypt and Primrose. I liked them so much I ordered the rest.

Descriptions!
Primrose: I would call this glitter with pink and gold shimmers. Had to pack on a lot to get a pink shade.
Rose: Primrose with actual colour. This has more pigments and wearable on the eyes.
Butterscotch: Fave of the lot. This is a basic neutral everyday colour. I put this on the entire lid, line eyes, mascara and I'm ready to get out.
Bittersweet: It's under the Orange category from the website, but it comes off pinkish corally.
Midnight Blue: Intense Navy Blue, loves it.
Blue-Bell: Very pretty in the jar, but comes off sheer. Baby blue basically.
Egypt: Green with blue shimmer hilights. Unfortunately I had to pack a lot of this on to get the nice colour out.
Gem: A much better Egypt. More pigmented and a nice deep green colour, another love.
Purple Grape: Flat purple. Loves it again.
Wine: A very nice purplish raspberry colour. Matte. Very very pigmented, I washed the colours off my hands and this one had the most vibrant stain.
Jessy Black: Black with low shimmers, nice subtle change from the usual flat mattes.

Downsides: On the eyes they crease like mad, so a good eyeshadow base is essential.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC Paint Pots should do the trick.

They are also very very messy, so be sure to get these sifter things. It will control the amount of product that comes out and prevent spillage.


If you can't get your hands on these, cover your vanity space with a piece of tissue prior to working with them.

Because Simply Natural's gave such full jars, they are bound to spill and spill they did.
This happened in the process of fixing sifters onto the jars.

Though admittedly I did sprinkle a little pink to make the tissue look prettier heh.

Anyway my spending has officially stopped, because I'm going to blow it all off on my holiday trip next week, and then I'm starting school so imma be so poor again. I'm going on holiday HAPPY EXCITED !@@##$%

Heatherette for MAC: Smooth Harmony

Ooook then. Heatherette! Made a reservation for the Beauty Powder. I wanted Alpha Girl which was a pink flushy type of colour, but somehow that one will not make it to our shores. So I stuck with Smooth Harmony - a bronzey semi-matte colour, although I was pretty sure it was going to blend right into my skintone.

Yep, sucker for packaging, right here.

Can you blame me now?! Sooo sexy! Hot pink with holographic thingies. These are printed right into the plastic, not even stickers!

By the way, as a bronzer it pretty much disappeared but surprisingly as a blusher, AWESOME. I looked so corally glowy.

I'm still contemplating whether to get the lipsticks. I only like one colour, and that colour looks veerrry similar to the one I got from the MAC Fafi collection. Hmmhmm.

Anyway, I feel like getting me some Heatherette. *Off to karmaloop.com*

NYX Round Lipsticks

Hello to the couple of strayers who have stumbled upon my blog through google searches of "pink elephants" and "metallic tights"!

Annnyywaaay. So I was having a bit of a problem with photoshop BUT then today I realised "heeeey why not I just take smaller resolutioned photos?" YES, double duh to the max.

I guess I'll post swatches. I've been buying an alarming amount of make-up recently. You see, I wanted to save money in not buying clothes but knowing my knack for wanting to spend, I figured that hey make-up's cheaper! and I believe it has turned into an addiction.

As promised, NYX round lipstick swatches! They kicked off my little sprees but these are the fabulousness. I got these for only USD$0.99 per tube cherryculture.com! Prices have gone up to $2 per tube, pity.

Let's see, I ordered 7 with alternates and it came back with only four miserable tubes.

Celene: Beige with chunks of goldish shimmers.
Circe: The most perfect nude I've ever seen.
Need lipliner with this though it's so creamy.
Georgia: Very pretty pink-coral. My favourite.
Rose: Hot pink-red with subtle blue accents.

Review: The lipsticks are verry creamy, very pigmented and so packed with colour. No funky cheap make-up smell, just a very faint apparently rose scent. Their lasting power is not bad also.
Con: Pretty packaging, but not very durable. I dropped Celene and the entire stick broke. Still usable though, just doesn't look nice.

And yesterday a package came in with my second cherryculture.com purchases! Third one making its way! HAHA!

Princessa Lipsticks, NYX Diamond Sparkle (ridiculously overpriced in Singapore), NYX Concealer in a jar, NYX Flat Top Brush (MAC 187 dupe!).

But hey, half of these are gifts for people. NYX for colleagues, and concealer for friend.

But no worries, I have averted my attention back to wonderful wonderful clothes!
The cure: TOPSHOP SALE. I was there on its first day of secret saleness (thank you topshop insider!) Close to $100 gone in one shot at Topshop, never done that before and it feeeeeels so good!

That said however... MAC Heatherette collection is FINALLY launched! Ooopsies. I was going to get their beauty powders on Friday, but they were delayed in shipping. Poo.

I'm thirsty and I'm lemming for some bubble tea. Shall run out and see if I feel like another post when I come back!
