Looking Toasty

SICK :(

I thought I could get better by now, but apparently not. The weather has been so miserable and cold and the perfect brew for a flu.

Anyway, I just feel like wrapping layers of scarves and other winter-ish junk all over me right now.

These winter-ish accessory pieces from UrbanOutfitters look so darn, uh, thermally covetable.

Painter's beret, I have :) Minus the weird-looking sparkly thing.
I'll probably don this tomorrow.
Comfy loose beanie, I really like.

Based on past experiences with the headband this is so going to annoy me, but hey it's pretty, hence.

And then the scarves:

Aah, the hoodie scarf. Favourites rolled into one.

Weird thought, but I hope tomorrow's another cold day so I can dress myself toasty.

Bed now, the only reason I'm still awake is because I'm waiting for my iPod to recharge.

BeanNewYork: Uncommonly Lovely Baby Threads

One advice, never ever take prune juice before sleeping unless you want to be woken up constantly by the incessant gurgling of the bowel and running to the loo. Unnecessary info, I know, but I'm still cranky from lack of sleep *grumbles*.

Squealfest alert! Unless you hate babies [*Gaassssp* Monster, you.].

Because of BeanNewYork, I now want to have a baby! Then I can dress the little bug up like a pretty drool-worthy piece of squishy cupcake.

Apparently it's been spotted on Baby Kingston and if it's good enough for Gwen Stefani's baby it's good enough for mine.

This is such an adorably quirky onesie [they're called onesies!!! CUTE!] :

Drumming squirrel? Genius.

This is such a fabulous coat ever. It's reversible too.
I'll have it in adult size please.

Ballet flats + socks= Pixie socks!
PIXIE socks! Where do they come up with these names...

They also have the most adorable baby hoodies and beanies!

AWWWwwwwwWWWwww googlie wooglie embarrassing baby babbleeee...

Bringing Sexyback with a lil' bit of Hoodie.

Today I woke up late and missed school!!! I'm such a rockstar.

Speaking of rockstars, I've always wanted to pull the blazer over hoodie look off ever since Justin Timberlake did it.

It's casual and effortless yet smart because of the formal blazer.

But I don't have blazers roomy enough/hoodies thin enough. And the weather here don't exactly call for this kind of layering. Meh, I'll figure something out.

Or perhaps I could use the foolproof jacket-hoodie combo too.

I don't know this model -_-
But I do know I want her leather jacket.

Agyness Deyn

I think Justin Timberlake is the coolest person ever, though he humbly denied and said George Clooney is. I would've agreed too, except Clooney belongs to my mother -_-.

More pictures of the sexyback because I know you want to be lovestoned. Don't know where they come from since they're from my, uh, personal folder. My... personal style inspiration folder, that's right *shifty eyes*.

RAWRRR.

I love Naketano's Hoodies, please

I was going to post a photo collage entry but I got really distracted -_- The photo collage is not done so it'll wait till tomorrow. Or when I find time to finish it.

I'm going to watch Ju-On: The Grudge now, the Japanese one, not the crappy American version.

Anyway, quick one.

Now I remember why I got the Baylene hoodie sweater! Apart from my obsession with hoodies of course -_-. It's reminiscent of Naketano's style, since I can't get Naketano, I'll get something alike. Riiiight. Anyway they've updated!

It's been awhile since I last visited Wetseal. Wonder how they're doing. *ambles off*

Naketano - My Favourite Pieces

Naketano is an independent 2 year old streetstyle fashion label from Germany.

The concept they adopted is "Lieblingstile" which translates to Favourite Pieces for the rest of us non-german speaking folks. They understand that essentially, you have to like what you wear, so much so that "your piece changes your mood positively".

Very cool.

The collection itself interprets their concept beautifully, with just enough bright, vivid colours , always against a neutral background so nothing looks gaudy and everything looks timeless.

Which is a curious feat for Naketano, considering timeless-ness kinda goes against the bit of Flashdance vibe I'm getting from viewing their collection.

And ohh, the hoodies. How could I ever resist the hoody? Nakatano sure picked the right person to send their press release to this time.

Oh yeah, I'd feel positive in all of them.

Hoodies with less sleeve are also LOVE

I was supposed to do a post on short-sleeved hoodies a while ago but I forgot, probably because I already go myself a nice piece tee hee. I know, I should really get around to uploading photos.

Anyway, I love short-sleeved hoodies because they're like hoodies, except less, uh, warm. Which would make a lot of sense if you live in an all-year tropical climate like I do and have an obsession with hoodies :).

These are from Wetseal's sale section:

Pricier but more unique versions from UrbanOutfitters:

Diesel bubble-sleeved! I like it.

Short-sleeved? Make it no sleeve!
Nah, doubt I like this, looks way unfinished. Sleeves make all the difference.

Personal Styling into Gymming

Ever since I signed up with a gym I've been quite obsessed with what to wear, naturally.

Besides, I think it makes sense that the right apparel should not only be comfortable to work out in, but it should also make you feel like working out. So I don't care if it's silly to put so much thought in what I'm wearing to the gym, hmmmmppph.

Urban Outfitters
have all the go-to-gym essentials that I looovvveee, especially their tshirt collection.

Anyway, here's how I'd like to go to the gym in, yaaaaay.

Top

You could wear the typical sports bra/tank thingy, but I personally like a bit more cloth on me. So that when I change out of it I'd feel somehow lighter, haha.

I need to get one of these boy tanktops. I'd feel fierce in them.

On a random not, Ciara wore a white wifebeater in her "Like a Boy" music video, I thought that whole androgynous 'gangsta' look totally worked.

So flashdance! Cheesy, but I love it!

Can you say flashdance again? I'd wear this for yoga.

The T-shirts! They deserve another different post but unfortunately I think the next few days is going to be a wee bit tight, so this way at least they do receive some sort of credit :)

What? Everybody loves Hello Kitty.

Hey! Mary Kate, wait I mean Ashley, no wait, oh pooh, one of the Olsen twins wore this!

Gorgeous colour, nice cut, and a deep message *cough*.
I think I'm into this phase whereby I like big font on tshirts. I'm thinking those fashion groupie tshirts from House of Holland rubbed off on me.

Bottom

The classic: shorts.

I want to get one of these camo print cargos as well, but in a shade of grey. Saw someone wearing it out on the streets today.

Cover-up

Yay, my favourite part. Urban Outfitters is new love because they have a nice hoodies.

TOO ADORABLE.
Yay, pandas.
How's about a short-sleeved hoodie?
I got one the other day while out shopping. Loved it, though I've not worn it out yet.
The romper is great for the beach, works as well as a gym coverup.
The appeal is that it's cute and it's so easy to wear.

Well, that's my preferred gym style for you. Have fun looking for yours :)
